Dear MC,
Your mommy is not a morning person. Up until now you have obliged me by sleeping in, I appreciate this. So if you could please explain what is going on right now I’d really like to know how we can go back to our 8am sleep in.
And I can hear you in my room through the monitor, there is really no need to shout PUPPY PUPPY PUPPY at high decibels. Trust me, I know you are there.
If you’re going to wake up early, you can help me out by being in a good mood. Feel free to leave the cranky self behind. If you really must be cranky please feel free to make me my coffee in the morning, it’s not hard…daddy will show you.

Dear Mommy,
I have decided that since it’s now the summer months we should be enjoying the long summer days before the winter comes back. And I know how much you hate winter, I’m only thinking of your well-being you know!
I’ve noted your suggestion regarding my exhuberant shouting of “Puppy” and will now switch to what you perceive as “baby babble”, but is actually a secret code for the Mini-Horde and cats to be very naughty so I look like an angel compared to them.
I’ve been trying to be in a good mood, but I can’t be a ray of sunshine every morning you know. Perhaps it would help if you fed me more yummy food and bought me more Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends toys. Or how about a TV for my bedroom eh? You and Daddy have a GIGANTIC one in your room…so why can’t I? And that Winnie the Pooh Music player doesn’t cut it.
Daddy refuses to teach me how to make coffee because he’s afraid that I’ll drink it and be even more energetic…ask him about the time he let me taste his Tim’s when you were off shopping with Aunt Julie. Those strange brown stains on the ceiling and floor were NOT Sassy’s fault.
In conclusion, I hope that you take some of my suggestions into consideration so that we may agree to a mutually beneficial co-existance.
